First things first...
I am a women’s health and performance coach, a mother to two rad lads Alfie and Arlo, obsessed with all things that encompass movement, an introvert, an enneagram 2, a wife, gym rat, book worm and a bit of a coffee snob. I currently live in Shanghai, China, but work with women all over the world.
I believe ...
that health, strength and fitness doesn't have a look.
when you act with care and respect for your body you can change your relationship with your body and exercise.
pursuing strength and fitness is important for all women through all seasons of life and it's important to have flexible thinking about what this looks like.
feeling confident in your body doesn't come from changing the look of your body but confident thoughts.
My values are:
Compassion
Truth
Knowledge
Hello! I am Olivia behind
Olivia Park Coaching.
After many years of working with people in person 1:1, small group and coaching CrossFit, starting in Auckland, New Zealand then 4.5 years in Taiwan, 4 years in South Korea and currently China, I shifted my business from in-person to online in 2019 so that I could educate and reach more women. I wholeheartedly believe that in order to be a good online coach, years spent working in person with a range of different people with different backgrounds, personalities and desires is essential.
Now, I work online with women 1:1 and through Grit and Grace, my strength and conditioning program. I also mentor other trainers and coaches to help them better support their female clients through program design and understanding female physiology and the psychology of training women.
HEALTH & FITNESS SHOULD BE NOT DETERMINED BY A PHYSICAL IMAGE
Although most of my adult years have been tied up in competitive sport with bodybuilding then CrossFit (winning Fittest in Taiwan in 2018), I’ve had my own battles with making my way through the noise of the fitness industry.
From an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise, resulting in a host of hormonal battles, there have been many dark days figuring out what is best for me and my body.
But through these struggles and learnings, and what I have learnt from my own coaches and mentors, I am here to help you find your own path within the chaos of the health and fitness space. I saw the need to serve active women through a compassion-first approach who were either being told to slow down and do yoga or that they were not doing enough. There is so much in between.
Compassion, knowledge, and autonomy are at the Core of Olivia Park Coaching.
There is no single journey that is the same. Educating and guiding intentions are the building blocks for creating full autonomy so that you can finally find freedom in your body and mind. I am constantly investing in myself with education to stay up to date and continue learning to bring the best to my clients, whether this is with training, nutrition, female-specific education and mindset.
