Friend, tell me if:
-
You’re happy training on your own—it's your ‘me’ time—but you’re not sure if what you’re doing is working; you make a lot of educated guesses.
-
You’re exhausted and know that ‘more is not better’ exists but you don’t know how to embody it with the training you do and how to trust that less can be enough
-
You *get* body appreciation but wonder if you’ll ever get to a place where you feel comfortable in your skin.
-
You could put together your workout, but you’re ready for accountability and guidance, someone else to think for you. But you don’t know who to trust—you're weary of the online fitness space.
-
You've done online programs before and hated that you felt behind if you missed a day or week.
-
You’re interested in training in a way that honours your body and you want to support your health, but you like to train hard—you wonder how the two can exist without it being all or nothing.
-
You're a coach but you feel like an imposter because you're not embodying the health and training principles you teach to your clients. (You're really good at putting everyone else first before you!)
-
You don’t know what to do if you can’t get to the gym or how to keep progressing when stuff comes up like travel, getting sick, bad PMS days—life.
-
You want to learn more about training and program design by doing.
If you’re nodding to any of these, let me show you a different, more compassionate way of getting results.
Because the truth is, it's not the exercise holding you back
Hey, I'm Olivia
I help women get results and enjoy their training again without stressing about it. I’m a program design nerd, mother of two rad lads, coffee snob and a compassion-led women's health and performance coach.
For years I struggled with overtraining and underfuelling, extreme self-criticism and an unhelpful relationship with my body and exercise—I had a lot of grit but not a lot of grace. This approach led me to feel suffocated by fitness, rather than fulfilled by it. It took years of deep work, experimentation with my program design and developing self-compassion to turn it all around.
I learnt that enjoyable, sustainable, progressive training is grit and grace.
At the time, there was no one I could turn to. No one could help me train in a way that got me results while honouring my body at the same time.
I felt like I was missing something.
So I decided to create a program, which is what I wish I had access to while I was figuring this stuff out.
I lead by curiosity. I love to learn and figure things out then share and those learnings with the women I work with. A lot of this is to do with finding exercise that works, is sustainable and being motivated by care and respect for your body than lack.
Grit and Grace helps women get strong, fit and connect with their body by learning how to listen to their intuition and restore trust and safety in their body in and out of the gym.
Through my own experiences and the hundreds of women I’ve worked with this is what I know to be true: when we take a health-first and compassion lead approach to exercise and our body, the results will follow.
GRIT AND GRACE
Introducing
The only online compassion-based Strength and Fitness Training program designed to get results without the toxic hustle, burnout and all-consuming mental drama that can come with bad training or body image day.
Grit and Grace is not your typical 'online' program. We're not just another influencer-led, cookie-cutter program that doesn't deliver.
When you enter the Grit and Grace community you'll experience a Master's degree in understanding your body and you'll never feel behind if you have to skip a day.
You will get results (we stand behind this 100%) and unlock a whole new way of doing strength and fitness.
Take a peek at what's inside below 👇🏽
With Grit and Grace In Your Corner You'll Learn How To:
-
Train more intuitively by honouring your energy while making gains.
-
Know exactly what to do from the minute you start your workout to when you finish; from warm up to cool down.
-
Have an exact plan of what to do if you’re not feeling great. You no longer have to battle with guilt and shame around pulling back in a workout or taking a day off.
-
Learn how to embody self-compassion, and trust yourself and your body more.
-
Uplevel your own program design and coaching skills by actually embodying the things you're teaching your clients to do, if you're a coach or trainer.
-
Know when your body is telling you to push hard or to pull back so that you can finally make consistent, sustainable progress. You’ll know what it feels like to be more self-compassionate.
-
Have a life outside of the gym that doesn’t revolve around you agonising over what your body looks like or how it performs.
-
Be an inspiration to other women because of the ease and confidence you have in what you’re doing for your workouts and the mindset you have about doing them.
-
Have a solid understanding of how strength training and conditioning can complement one another in a way that’s going to leave you feeling energised, not exhausted.

What equipment do I need?A well-equipped home gym or commercial gym that has access to barbells, plates, bench, pull up bar, DBs, KBs and a piece of conditioning equipment is perfect. It's a bonus if you have cable machines, lat pull down, etc.
-
What if I don’t like it—can I get a refund? You just need to give me 4 weeks notice and then your subscription can be cancelled. You and I can chat about how things are feeling and troubleshoot if need be! But new things are also hard. Give yourself the opportunity to see if it is for you and if not, you can cancel.
-
What happens after the 4 month commitment is up?I have no doubt you’ll want to continue, but if you don’t no sweat! If you stay in the program the monthly payments roll on, you don’t need to do a thing but continue to get gains.
-
How much time do I need to commit each week? Each workout is 40-60 mins but there are options to modify if you are short on time. There are four days of lifting with shorter conditioning pieces with an optional aerobic day and mobility day. GG is a 'choose your own path' program. It's built out to be effective for those who want to train 2x p/wk to 5x p/wk.
-
I’m new to weight training, is this still for me?The main Grit and Grace program is not for beginners but if you have had at least six months experience weight training you will be grand. If you have been out of the gym for a while you have full access to the GG Fundamentals program which is 12 weeks and a great reintroduction to the gym before jumping into the main GG program.
-
I’m a trainer and I know how to workout. Is this for me?Absolutely. Many of the women inside GG are trainers who are tired of letting their own health and performance slide because they've been so focussed on their clients. You also are worthy of someone holding space for you and programming for you just as you do for your own clients. sometimes the hardest thing is to program for yourself when that's so much of what you do for clients! The investment you make in yourself here will only carry over into your business, too.
-
How often does the program change? The program is ongoing. It is built in micro, macro, meso cycles, meaning every training block builds on one another. Each training block is 4-7 weeks.
-
Is Grit and Grace okay if I am pregnant or returning to exercise postpartum? You can absolutely follow the GG main programming through your pregnancy and make modifications as your body changes (the Ultra option would be best for this). You do also have access to the GG Pregnant program which takes you through from conception to delivery. Post partum, I suggest starting with the GG 12-week Postpartum Program then moving into the main GG programming. We have had women who have toggled between all three programs through their pregnancies and beyond.
-
What if I get sick or have to skip a day?Not a problem. Just make a note in True Coach and move on. You are not expected to make every single workout. You are a human with a life outside of the gym. We don't do 'perfect' in GG.
-
What if I’m worried about my form? That's what I am here for! You can upload videos for me to check in True Coach and you will receive individualised feedback.
-
I’ve done other online programs before, how is this different/better?You have a coach! A real human on the other end. I keep the numbers small inside GG because it is semi-individualised. You're not part of the masses. Secondly, most programs have you doing intense exercise for 8-12 weeks then you’re left wondering what to do. Because GG is built as a progressive program, there’s no rush. You learn to adjust your workouts each day depending on how you’re feeling (life stress, menstrual cycle, etc) so you’re making steady, consistent progress rather than it being all then nothing. I've been in the fitness industry for 10+ years. Before moving to online coaching I worked with humans in person in a 1:1 capacity, small group and coached CrossFit. I believe in-person experience working with a wide range of bodies and personalities is an essential piece for effective online coaching in terms of communication and technical feedback.
